No. Wynn Al Marjan Island is on Al Marjan Island in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, north-east of Dubai. There is no casino in Dubai itself.
Is a new casino opening near Dubai?
Yes. Wynn Al Marjan Island received the first UAE casino licence from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in October 2024, and Wynn Resorts says the resort is due to open in 2027. It is a land-based integrated resort, not an online casino. Online, only the GCGRA-licensed operator, Play971, is legal in the UAE.
